Arthur Michael Connor, CLU®, ChFC®, RHU®, AIF®, with over 30 years in the financial services industry, is a Founding Partner of Independence Capital Financial Partners, LLC. ( ICFP), a financial services and employee benefits practice, in Lombard, Illinois. He specializes in personalized wealth management and retirement and estate planning, in addition to employee benefit planning for small/medium business and professional markets. Along with three partners, Mike formed Chicago Oakbrook Financial Group in 1990, a financial services and employee benefits practice, in Oak Brook, Illinois, where he was active until forming ICFP in March of 2012.
James W. Lohse, ChFC®, CASL®, AIF® is a career professional in the financial services industry spanning nearly 40 years. As Founder and Partner of ICFP and throughout his career, he has continually increased his dedication to helping his clients, which has earned him the respect of clients and colleagues, alike.
Andrew M. Lohse, CPA/PFS, CRPS®, AIF® has been involved in the financial services industry for over 10 years. He strives to continually enhance the client service level through his commitment to professional growth and education. People choose to work with Andrew due to his ability to provide them leadership as a steward of their financial resources, while always being gracious and humbled by their trust and confidence.
Jake is a recent graduate from Elmhurst College in May of 2016, with a double major in Finance and Economics after only three years. Shortly after graduating he then joined Independence Capital Financial Partners as a Junior Financial Planner. Andrew and Jake met through the mentorship program of Elmhurst College and interned at Independence Capital Financial Partners the summer before he graduated. Jake is currently studying and progressing through the Certified Financial Planner course through the American College.
Karen has been a part of Independence Capital Financial Partners (ICFP) since its founding in 2012. Among the many marketing activities she provides, Karen created, and continues to develop, ICFP’s quarterly newsletter with the intent of incorporating a personal touch in communication with clients. Along with her marketing responsibilities, Karen is the event planner for ICFP’s annual Client Appreciation Breakfast as well as their annual Crosstown Classic fundraiser for Blue Cap.
Kathy joined ICFP in March, 2016 to work alongside Lisa Lawler in handling the day-to-day operations of the firm. Over the past 23 years, Kathy has held various positions within Amoco and BP in the areas of Human Resources, Marketing, Training, Analysis, and Operations. While at Amoco/BP, Kathy developed her skills in the areas of database management, project coordination, event planning, financial reporting, and compliance programs.
